    • In June, John's album "Dreamland Express" is released. The video belonging to the single "Don't Close Your Eyes Tonight" creates quite a stir especially in the USA, since it contains some "grown up" scenes. Actually pretty harmless, but some stations in the USA put the video on the index…
    • Gudrun Macht strengthens the club staff from this Summer on.

    • John does advertisements for "Raisin Bran" in the USA…

    • For the first time, we support "Menschen für Menschen" (Mankind for Mankind – an organization working against hunger in Ethiopia) with the proceeds from our Denver Weekend. This project will become a tradition.
